About the Event
Since 2022, there has been an active Virtual Community of researchers interested in Digital Health that has routinely met online. However, this year the community will also meet up physically at ACIS 2026, providing an opportunity for members and interested ACIS participants to meet in person.
We envisage this as a collegial, interactive session combining very short research presentations with small-group conversations, designed to help members share current work, discover mutual interests and initiate potential collaborations. Participants may attend with or without presenting.
Interactive Sessions Format
- Approximately eight participants give three-minute lightning presentations of a current project or research idea, using one or two slides.
- Attendees then form small groups around presenters or topics of interest for approximately 20 minutes to exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations.
- The first round concludes with informal networking over light refreshments, sponsored by the University of Melbourne.
- If there is sufficient interest, a second round of approximately eight lightning presentations and small-group discussions can be included.
