Track Description
Digital innovation and transformation are reshaping how organisations create value, compete, and organise work. The rapid evolution and pervasive adoption of digital technologies particularly, generative and agentic artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT) are driving profound changes in products, services, processes and organisational forms, and redefining the nature of work and human-technology relationships.
The ongoing digitalisation of products and services is fostering radically new, disruptive, and dynamic business models. However, this accelerated transformation introduces both unprecedented opportunities and significant risks. Key concerns for information systems scholars now include algorithmic management, workforce augmentation, digital surveillance, and the ethical implications of autonomous AI decision-making.
This track invites research that advances knowledge at the intersection of digital innovation, transformation, and the future of work. We specifically encourage research into how digital technologies influence value creation, the innovation process, and work practices, as well as contributions that address the inclusive, ethical, and sustainable dimensions of digital innovation and transformation.
