The conference normally attracts about five hundred submissions each year from both Australian and overseas researchers, research students, and industry professionals. Papers selected for presentation appear in the ‘ACIS Proceedings’, which have been archived online since 2001. While the conference originated in 1990 as an Australian conference, it has attracted growing numbers of overseas participants ever since. In recent years conference attendance has stabilised at between 250 and 350 delegates.
