AAIS is proud to announce a new Development Workshop to improve the skills of journal and conference reviewers and support reviewing processes in the Australasian IS Community. This workshop has been developed under the auspices of the AAIS Digital Health Virtual Community in collaboration with the Australasian Journal of Information Systems (AJIS) and ACIS 2025. Find out more about this workshop here.
You are invited to register for the AAIS Reviewer Development Workshop at ACIS2025. If you’re an early career researcher or experienced scholar keen to boost your reviewing expertise and contribute to the Information Systems community, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn, connect, and receive formal recognition. Please note that spaces are limited.
Why attend?
- Sharpen your peer‑reviewing skills with hands‑on guidance from senior scholars and journal editors.
- Gain insights into editorial expectations from AJIS and ACIS.
- Build your academic profile – reviewers are recognised, certified and valued.
- Contribute to enhancing the quality and integrity of IS research.
Our workshop co-chairs will be joined by a team of experienced mentors. You will bring along a paper review you’ve completed prior to the workshop, engage in breakout discussions, and reflect alongside senior editors and peers.
Upon successfully completing the requirements of the course (attending, contributing and discussing your review) you will be provided with an AAIS Certificate of Completion for this workshop.
